The cartoon 'Well, just you wait! ' has Zayats (Hare) and Volk (Wolf) as main characters. Hare is a good and well-mannered boy, and Wolf is a lazy, mischievous, adventurous and bad-mannered guy. Wolf tries to chase Hare but always fails and gets into trouble. The main characters of the cartoon 'Tom & Jerry' are the cat Tom and the mouse Jerry. Tom is an unlucky fellow trying to catch the small mouse Jerry, but never achieving his goal and getting himself into a mess. In a way, the Russian and the American cartoons are similar.
