Every day, every second people argue about something. Usually about home problems. The best way to solve the problem is to try to understand another person. Just imagine what would you do if you were him. Don't say rude words, they may really hurt him. And you may regret about your actions later. Another good method is to remember what was the reason of the argument. And finally, just calm down and apologize.
