Lamborghini R& D Director Maurizio Reggiani as Lechat, announced some new details about the production version of the concept of Urus. In an interview with Automotive News, Reggiani as Lechat said: "we expect the beginning of series production no earlier than early in the year 2017. While the Urus was not officially approved for production, Reggiani as Lechat said the car likely will use a twin-turbo V8. Not yet officially, but Automotive News said the engine may be based on the 4,2-liter V8 from Audi and will produce around 600 bhp (447 kW/608 PS). If all goes according to plan, Lamborghini will sell 3000 crossovers a year.
